The name “Wêreldend’ - World’s End - describes this area of the Namib so well. We came across this signboard recently on the C27 south of Sesriem, a frontier land of note where the vast sandy landscape, fringed by mountains and haloed with a dome of big sky evokes a feeling of otherworldliness.
