In almost every cemetery I visit I come across a gravestone with a dolphin on it. This heart-warming image is often found on the graves of children, depicting playfulness, joy and beauty, harmony, innocence and grace, and conveying the wish that the dolphin carries them gently over the waters to the heavenly realm.
