    Grave Matters

    Honouring our grader operators

    By Manni Goldbeck
    March 28, 2023

I’ve always been grateful to our grader operators, who keep the Namibian gravel roads in such good condition. They spend their days and nights, winter and summer, on our roads, away from their families regardless of wind, dust heat and cold.

When I see a grader on the road, I often stop to offer them a cooldrink. I feel that they may not always receive the credit that is due to them for their important work, so was pleased to come across this gravestone in Rehoboth doing just that.
