    When the Firewood Season Returns

    It’s that time of year when the cold winter chill creeps in and people can be seen collecting bundles of wood for their cooking fires and to keep warm in the cooler nights.
     
    These photos of people carrying wood on their head, on the back of a bicycle, in a donkey cart and on the roof of a car capture this atmosphere of the seasons having turned, reminding us how fire still plays a major role in rural areas.
