Opening of the Maritime Museum in Lüderitz: A sneak preview

A state-of-the-art maritime museum, housed in the renovated Old Power Station building will open to the public on the 1st of November!

The spacious and attractively laid-out museum has a collection of ship models, marine coins and stamps, interspersed with fascinating information boards, displays and several aquarium tanks. It also houses a children’s section where the kids can try their hand at making sailor’s knots while their parents learn more about Namibia’s maritime history and wealth.
