    Baboon Rock

    By Author
    April 18, 2023

It’s always fun seeing faces and figures in rock. And it didn’t take much imagination to see this face clearly visible on the granite koppie, as if a large baboon or gorilla was having a rest up there.

Formed over millions of years and shaped by wind and water erosion, ‘Baboon Rock’ - as it’s known - is on the farm Tsoabis, south of Karibib, next to the Swakop River.

Have you seen any interesting rock formations? Please share them with us, we’d love to see them.
